July Was a Firecracker Month: Real Estate, Elvis Dreams, and Outrageous Open Houses

What a July! I don’t say this lightly. It was one of those rare months where every hat I wear (Realtor, Auctioneer, and Elvis Tribute Artist) got a moment in the spotlight. And honestly? I’m still reeling in the best way.

1203 Woodridge Circle Exterior

Let’s kick things off with a huge win. We went under contract in just 2 DAYS on 1203 Woodridge Circle in the serene Morrisdale Estates neighborhood of Euless. This property was special, and the response from buyers proved it. By the end of the month, we were closed and celebrating.

But the excitement didn’t stop there.

Our stunning Dallas listing at 1110 Haines Ave caught the eye of D Magazine, earning a coveted spot in their “Dallas Open Houses to Tour This Weekend” feature on July 11. Just two days later, we took that momentum to the next level with an unforgettable open house.

On July 13, we hosted a “Mermaids and Margs!” open house featuring the incredible Aerial Red, a local aerialist and mermaid performer who wowed guests with a dazzling display of aquatic glamour. And guess what? It got picked up by CandysDirt.com, one of Dallas’ top real estate news sources. Feature writer Brenda Mass awarded our event the “Most Outrageously Creative Open House Award.” Not gonna lie, I may have squealed.

Oh, and while we’re at it, 1110 Haines is now UNDER CONTRACT. Boom.

July also delivered on the personal dreams front. I got word that my Elvis tribute act, “A Little Less Conversation,” was accepted into the Sin City Burlesque Festival. That means I’ll finally be performing as Elvis in Las Vegas, a dream that’s been almost 10 years in the making.

As usual, I squeezed in a little roadside exploration. This month’s quirky stops included:

Oh… and did I mention I negotiated the sale of a beautiful low-hour John Deere tractor for over $115,000? Because I did. It was a banner month on the auction front too.

To sum it up, July was full of contracts, creativity, country roads, and rhinestones. I’m grateful to all the amazing clients, collaborators, and supporters who made this wild ride possible.

Here’s to keeping the momentum rolling into August!
