Mortgage Rate Drops & Upcoming Events
I wanted to share an interesting update from today’s real estate market: the average U.S. 30-year fixed mortgage rate has dropped to about 6.35%, the lowest it’s been in nearly a year. (Source: AP News)
This decline is making monthly payments more affordable and giving buyers a little more breathing room. We’re also seeing price growth cooling in some areas and more homes coming on the market – meaning buyers have better options than they’ve had in quite some time.
If you’ve been considering buying or selling, this could be a great window of opportunity. Let me know if you’d like to talk about what this means for you.
